The latest rumour is doing the rounds that Saif's mother
Sharmila Tagore has invited the President Pranab Mukherjee to the wedding
ceremony. A leading daily revealed that Sharmila met Mukherjee at the
Rashtrapati Bhavan and spent about 15 minutes
Not many people know that in Pataudi palace, films like Veer
Zara, Mangal Pandey, Rang De Basanti, Gandhi My Father were shot. Also famous
Hollywood film Eat, Pray, Love featuring Julia Roberts was also filmed in the
same palace. Saif and Kareena's wedding reception will take place in the same
palace
Saifeena's wedding card is finally out. The card has been
addressed to Nawab and Begum Kazim Ali Khan of Rampur in Uttar Pradesh. And, as
confirmed by Sharmila Tagore before, Saifeena's Dawat-e-Walima (wedding reception)
will take place on October 18 at Pataudi palace
It has been revealed that for Saifeena's wedding, more than
fifteen varieties of paans from Jaipur would be served to the guests at the
entrance. Also only few friends and close family members will be present for
the occasion
Kareena Kapoor will be wearing Sharmila Tagore's wedding
dress on her big day. The vintage 'joda' was gifted to Sharmila Tagore by her
mother-in-law, Begum Sajida Sultan of Bhopal, who wore it for her wedding with
cricketer Mansur Ali Khan Pataudi in 1969
